Giampiero's campaign has fully funded! 🎉 A Beam employee is now supporting him on his journey through training and into work as a support worker.
But other Beam members need your help. Support the greatest number of homeless people to train up and get into work by giving monthly.
I honestly couldn't believe that when I checked my profile for the last time that you people had provided the full amount of money to support my campaign! Thanks from the bottom of my heart to each one of you.
I'm now over a month into my course at college. And of course, continuing my role as a part-time support worker alongside.
Have a blessed day.
I would like to say thank you to each one of you. College has now started and I'm really enjoying it all. It seems to me a new chapter is going to be written in my life. It doesn't matter how my English will improve, I will never find the right word to describe my gratitude.
Thank you so much!
I went to the college yesterday and have been enrolled on my Level 3 Diploma course. So the new journey will start next week. 😁
Thanks to all for the great support.
The level of my enthusiasm is just getting better and better. It is easy when you don't feel alone anymore.
With gratitude and my regards to you all,
Thanks for the amazing support received so far! At the moment I am working on the permitted work scheme as a support worker and I love it.
Hopefully the next step will be a full time job.... well not hopefully because actually it is all I want! And I'm determined to make it happen. 👍
Have a good day and thanks again.
I'm excited to start my course but also a bit apprehensive. I was worried about being older than others in the class. But I've realised that I'm able to learn new things! I'm already doing a part-time work placement and really enjoying it.
With this support from Beam I can achieve the certificate I need to start a full time job - now my main aim and aspiration. 🌟

Too often homeless people are forced to lie out of sheer desperation. We think it's better when relationships are built on trust and honesty. Beam verifies each member in 4 ways:
1. Referral: every member of Beam is referred by a registered homelessness charity or local authority.
2. Interviews: before their campaign launches, each member is interviewed twice by a Beam Member Manager.
3. References: we take references on each member from the charity who refers them and someone in a position of responsibility.
4. Profile: we take great care to verify information in a member's story is true.
It's your money.
We work hard to ensure that you can give confidently.
A caseworker or "Member Manager" is an employee of Beam who helps those referred to Beam to plan a crowdfunding campaign and supports them through training and into work.
All Member Managers are trained professionals who specialise in supporting vulnerable adults by focusing on their strengths and abilities.
