Holly's campaign has fully funded! 🎉 A Beam employee is now supporting her on her journey through training and into work as a trainee paramedic.
But other Beam members need your help. Support the greatest number of homeless people to train up and get into work by giving monthly.
She raised £2,626 from 219 supporters to become a trainee paramedic.
The prospect of blue light training and learning medical skills to help others is massively exciting. And I'm looking forward to meeting others and making new friends in the process.

Too often homeless people are forced to lie out of sheer desperation. We think it's better when relationships are built on trust and honesty. Beam verifies each member in 4 ways:
1. Referral: every member of Beam is referred by a registered homelessness charity or local authority.
2. Interviews: before their campaign launches, each member is interviewed twice by a Beam Member Manager.
3. References: we take references on each member from the charity who refers them and someone in a position of responsibility.
4. Profile: we take great care to verify information in a member's story is true.
It's your money.
We work hard to ensure that you can give confidently.
A caseworker or "Member Manager" is an employee of Beam who helps those referred to Beam to plan a crowdfunding campaign and supports them through training and into work.
All Member Managers are trained professionals who specialise in supporting vulnerable adults by focusing on their strengths and abilities.
