Regina's campaign has fully funded! 🎉 A Beam employee is now supporting her on her journey through training and into work as a dental nurse.
But other Beam members need your help. Support the greatest number of homeless people to train up and get into work by giving monthly.
Thank you all so much for your support so far. After my interviews last week I have landed a brilliant trainee dental nurse job. This means I can start my course in January and learn whilst already in work!
I'm really excited to start this new chapter and without your support I couldn't have got this far. So thank you so much 😊
I'm working hard to have everything ready to go for this course. We need to have a trainee placement alongside the course and I’ve already got two job interviews lined up in dental practices. So I am hoping to begin work two weeks before my course starts.
And my daughter has just started her first term in nursery and is really enjoying it - it's good to know that she's settled before I begin. Now I’m just counting down the days till I can start!

Too often homeless people are forced to lie out of sheer desperation. We think it's better when relationships are built on trust and honesty. Beam verifies each member in 4 ways:
1. Referral: every member of Beam is referred by a registered homelessness charity or local authority.
2. Interviews: before their campaign launches, each member is interviewed twice by a Beam Member Manager.
3. References: we take references on each member from the charity who refers them and someone in a position of responsibility.
4. Profile: we take great care to verify information in a member's story is true.
It's your money.
We work hard to ensure that you can give confidently.
A caseworker or "Member Manager" is an employee of Beam who helps those referred to Beam to plan a crowdfunding campaign and supports them through training and into work.
All Member Managers are trained professionals who specialise in supporting vulnerable adults by focusing on their strengths and abilities.
