Roberta's story
Life was a constant struggle. My daughter and I were suddenly homeless and had nowhere to go. The feeling of being lost and helpless was overwhelming. It was very difficult to go through everything I went through with my daughter.
I want to find work as a cleaner because it's a flexible job and it allows me to still focus on my daughter, while being able to support us both. I want to be in a better position to move into a stable home, and then get a better job in the future.
It's so exciting and inspiring to see the solidarity of people and how they want to help you.
In 2 years, I imagine myself in my comfortable home, with a job I love, studying English and happy with my little daughter.
