I first found myself homeless in 2019 after I had to leave my job to focus on my mental health. Things were difficult but I managed to find a new flat I felt safe in. Unfortunately, I found out that the property was being rented illegally when the real landlords came to visit. Ending up homeless again has been the worst scenario I've ever dealt with.
Finding a new place to live while sleeping on the streets and in hostels has been incredibly tough. I've applied to so many properties and gone to lots of viewings but I just keep getting rejected. During this time, my depression has gotten worse as the stress and frustration have built up. Having to sleep in a tent in the forest led me to my lowest point.
Now, I'm determined to work toward a stable future and start rebuilding my life. Through your support I'm really looking forward to getting into a new home where I can feel safe and settled. I used to be a graphic designer so I especially can't wait to get back into making art, and one day in the future I'd love to show my drawings in a gallery.
