Alexi's story
With Beam I want to achieve finding employment that means I can support my family both financially and be there for them emotionally.
I've already got a role lined up and just need a few things to get started. Childcare is really important and having some support with that would be amazing.
The biggest challenge I have faced was attaining the right to public funding for living and education as I didn't live in the UK. Also I struggled to find work references due to my time out of the country.
I'm excited to get some support as the initial move back into work emotionally, physically and financially requires more energy.
