My number one priority is my baby. Being pregnant in a pandemic was not easy but I'm so happy to have a wonderful, healthy child. I want to be a good role model for her and provide as much as I can.
Things are tough at the moment as we don't have anywhere to call our own. We're staying with family but it's cramped and we desperately need our own space. To make sure we're financially stable and able to move out, I need to find a job as soon as possible. Getting into work will mean I can afford somewhere to live without being benefit capped. In a years time I hope to be in a totally different situation; a flat of our own and earning enough to keep a home running.
I'm not afraid of working hard! I have a background working in hospitality so it's a sector I feel comfortable in and I know I'm good at. I'm looking to keep my options open though as my main goal is to find a job. Before becoming a mum, I completed a course in pastry and patisserie so that I could pursue a career in cake decoration. Once I've found work, I'd love to start doing that as a hobby again and then eventually a business in the future. I love the attention to detail it requires and it never fails to relax me.
