Hello, I'm Asher. I've always been one to push myself, whether that's at the gym or in life. I love working out and I've recently started getting into calisthenics. It's not just about the physical challenge, it's about the mental one too. I've faced a few challenges in my life, the biggest one being the lack of support from my family. I've got three younger siblings and my parents just don't have the time or the money to help me. So, I've learned to fend for myself.
I'm currently in a bit of a transition phase. I've been working in hospitality, but I didn't really get on with my manager and decided to leave. Now, I'm looking for a new challenge. I've always regretted not choosing trade work like my peers in college. It just seemed like something I would enjoy more. So, I've set my sights on becoming an electrician. I'm hoping to start an apprenticeship soon, but in the meantime, I'm trying to get my moped licence so I can do delivery driving.
I'm not used to receiving help from others, so the thought of launching this Beam donations page is a bit overwhelming. But I'm also excited. I'm looking forward to being able to invest more time and energy into the things I love, like music. I love to sing and rap, it's my way of expressing myself. In two years' time, I want to be stable, reliable and able to do things for myself. I know achieving my goal with Beam is going to be amazing. I really appreciate any support you can give. Thank you.
