I dream of having somewhere to call my own again. After the dissolution of a long-term relationship and being made redundant during the pandemic, I had nowhere to go and it has been a really difficult time. Once I get my housing sorted, I want to find a more stable security job, like the one I had before the pandemic. I feel more ready than ever to look for a new place to call home.
To be honest, the thought of launching my campaign is exciting. I look forward to getting a little support to make my dream come true. It's not always easy to ask for help, and I first I was a bit hesitant. Now, I know that there are truly good people out there who want to help me.
Knowing that there is a community out there who wants to support me makes me feel like no matter how bad a situation is, you can turn to other people for help. If you look, a situation may become easier if you find someone to talk to. Then maybe other's can help solve your problems. Not everything can be fixed in a day, but knowing that things are looking up is great.
