When I apply myself wholeheartedly to a task and I accomplish my goals, I always feel a huge sense of pride. That truly makes me smile from my heart, because I’m proving I’m capable. I always quietly say to myself, "Yes Chloe, you can do this!!!” and that feels great.
I had been praying for some positive change in my life. I knew in my heart I was ready to take those next steps to succeed. Out of nowhere, my housing officer called and I was referred to Beam. Within a few weeks the ball started rolling. Everything is falling into place and the fire has been ignited in me to push through and complete my studies and get back into work.
Since I was a young girl, I’ve always had an interest in sports, fitness and healthy eating. I love the feeling I get when working out and I know I can take it to the next level. In January 2018, I enrolled on a Personal Training Diploma. Just a few weeks later, I found out I was pregnant. Over the last 18 months, I’ve paid all my course fees. The only thing that’s stopped me is funding the childcare so I have time to study. Getting a good qualification and feeling fulfilled helping other people, especially new mothers, back into fitness will really fulfil me too.
Doing this course and working again is something that is just for me. I love my children, but as a mother you become very selfless and unconcerned with yourself and let yourself go. I plan to achieve my goals so that I can be the best mother to my children.
