I arrived in England in 2018 as an asylum seeker, so I had to wait to receive all my legal documents. Because of this, I was unable to work for a while which is why I was homeless and started living in a hostel. My 7-year-old daughter and I were moved into a different accommodation which is very far from her school and it has been impacting her education, so my goal is to get back into work to be able to get back on my feet and afford a house for us!
I used to be an accountant back home. My life was good when I was healthy. But since I started having health issues it has been really challenging for me and my doctors say that it is related to my stress. This is why I am really looking forward to start working again, as I know that I will be able to recover fully and be happier!
In the future, my dream is to work as a nurse. In the meantime, I want to learn more about social care as I really care about others and it makes me really happy to be able to support other people. I know that going back into work will really help me financially and with my mental health as well!
