My son gives me the greatest joy in life. I love my son so much, I had him later in life so he's a blessing and a miracle. He's my life. He never makes trouble he's so calm, even when we don't have much he's so content. He's a lovely and smart child.
Outside of being a mother to my wonderful son, I am interested in being a support worker as I love caring for others, especially people who have a disability or people who are considered to be different. I have a sister who was born with epilepsy in Nigeria. She only got diagnosed when she was much older. I started looking after her from a young age. I love her so much and when she was struggling I was really sympathetic and I was the only one out of my family members who would try and support her when she was going through an episode.
There's a lot of suspicion around this condition in Nigeria and it is considered a taboo, you aren't allowed to be around people with epilepsy. From this experience, I developed a desire to support people with a disability. I really love it and I naturally have a lot of empathy so I think I would make a good support worker. I've been living in and out of temporary accommodation for many years and I would like to be able to afford a stable life for my son and me as it is only the two of us.
