When I was younger, I used to work as a fork lifter. It was great—I got out of the house and did something all day. I made friends, and it felt like I was being useful to society.
But recently I lost my home, which led to me losing my job too. For a couple of years after that, I slept on the streets and sofa-surfed. But now I've been placed in temporary accommodation, and even though I'm not sure if I'll be able to get back into physical work all day (I feel tired now that I'm older!), I'd love to get trained as a security guard or as a CCTV operator.
I really appreciate your support and can't thank you enough for believing in me—it means a lot! Life has been boring being stuck at home all day with nothing to do but waiting for things to happen—but knowing that you're supporting me helps me stay positive about what's possible in the future.
