It’s fair to say that I’ve had my fair share of challenges these last few years. I’ve faced homelessness, had issues with my mental health, and struggled with addiction. But I’ve overcome so much in the last year, and I know that I’m now ready to get back into work and start moving my life forward again.
I’ve had a long career as a teacher and I’ve taught all over the world - so I’m really excited to have been offered a teaching role at a Summer Camp, starting in a few weeks! I can’t wait to get back into work and do what I love. I’m also volunteering at Citizens Advice at the moment, which I’ve done on and off for a number of years - so it feels like everything’s really moving in the right direction.
After work, the next step for me is moving into my own home. I’m really grateful to be living in my current accommodation - but it’s definitely not home, and I’m looking forward to having my own place in the future, and regaining the independence and stability that comes with that.
