After the war started in Ukraine, my three children and I were forced to flee to the UK, where kind people offered a roof above our heads. Unfortunately, after a year we had to find our own accommodation, because the war didn't stop, and it was uncomfortable to live in overcrowded conditions both for my children and for our UK hosts. I was lucky to be referred to Beam, who will help me find a home where myself and my children will feel safe and happy.
Sometimes I feel down that I'm alone with three children in another country. I have to work, be a good mother, and be positive. Knowing other people are eager to help helps me feel positive and gives me a great amount of energy. When I'm settled in my home, it will be a new page in my life. I want to return to my pre-war occupation in the banking world and want everyone around me to be happy and healthy always.
