Hi, I’m Sarah, a mum of two young children, and I’m reaching out for your support to help us find a stable home.
For over three years, my children and I have been moving from place to place after our landlord sold the property we lived in. Since then, we haven’t had anywhere we could truly call home. The constant moving has been incredibly distressing, not just for me but for my kids too. Many of the homes we’ve been placed in weren’t suitable, but as we were homeless, I didn’t have a choice.
Finding a landlord willing to accept tenants on Universal Credit has been an uphill battle. I’ve been searching tirelessly, but because my son has disabilities, I’m unable to work, which has made things even harder. At one point, I had lost all hope of finding a safe and stable place for us.
Then Beam got in touch, and for the first time in years, I feel positive again. Their support has given me a sense of hope and reassurance that finding a home for my family is possible.
