When I am listening to music it makes me happy and it helps me forget my troubles. I want to educate myself. I feel I didn't have the opportunity when I was younger but now I want to take the opportunity I have. Eventually, I want to do a nursing course but I need to start from somewhere. A nurse is one of those jobs that takes care of people. I see strong women in that role and I want to be one of them.
Our problem started when we were told that our property is going to be demolished. They have given us until September this year to move. When I got this tenancy, I got it jointly with my son who was working at the time. Now he is in university and I have to pay the rent myself, which takes every bit of money I have. I haven't been able to save up for a deposit to move somewhere else after our eviction, and they won't take my son's name off the tenancy or reduce the rent.
I want to get into work so we can afford to move into a private rented property. It is also so important to me to develop myself and learn from the role I do. I want to study Health and Social care and do care work so I can move towards my goal of becoming a nurse.
