I'm very protective over the people I love so I enjoy taking care of my family and dog as much as I can. I love to draw and paint in my spare time but I'm currently trying to move out to pursue my dream of studying interior design from scratch, which I can't do until I have somewhere stable to live.
My housing issues began when there was a breakdown in relationship between me and my mum. Things were made worse during the first lockdown as I was anxious about getting sick. My worst nightmare became a reality when we both caught the virus and this only put more strain on the relationship. After recovering, I started sofa surfing with friends and family. It's been really tough to stay positive, especially whilst my physical and mental health were affected at once.
My long term dream is to be an interior designer. I'd love to be established in the industry one day and make use of my creative skills. I will be looking for work that's in demand in the meantime so that I can be more financially secure. I know that moving into a flat will help me to move forward in so many areas of my life.
