For the past few months I have struggled with my housing. I had to leave the house I was living in because I was discriminated against and had to move to a different place as I felt unsafe where I was before. After sleeping on the street, I was placed in a temporary hostel away from my support network. I am also a care leaver and because of local connection rules I am unable to get the support to move closer to my college and religious community. It has been very difficult to continue my studies as the train tickets are very expensive.
All I want is to move into a stable home, study and then one day go to university so that I can make money to help other people who are in difficult situations like me.
With Beam’s support I am hopeful it will happen.
