After becoming the primary carer for my son I had to change the way I worked. This was a big change in my life but we managed to get through it. A shoulder injury has restricted me from being able to continue with my trade in construction. I did not take this as a setback and retrained as a security guard.
My boiler has been broken since October, this has meant I've had no heating or hot water in my household. This has been far from ideal but I had to prioritise other things like food and travel to odd jobs. I've really struggled to lock down a full-time stable job. I need to have a guaranteed income. This will help me gain stability and start to live my life to the fullest.
I feel like I've done everything possible but have received a series of knockbacks. With a little support, I will be able to get into secure employment and start to build the foundation I need to progress. I've worked most of my life and I do not like being unemployed. I know once I can get into a company I will do everything possible to make a great impression and be an asset to their team.
