My passion is kickboxing. I love the feeling of being in control when I'm practising. Along with going to the gym and running, it's my chosen way of keeping fit. Sadly, my housing situation over the last few years has taken priority over any hobbies but I'm hoping that I'll be able to focus on this once I've found work!
I became homeless when I fell out with my ex partner. We were living together so when the relationship came to an end I was left without a place to live. I didn't have a stable job at the time or any savings. Sleeping rough was my only option. It was the most difficult thing I've had to overcome. I was eventually supported into a hotel in September last year and I've been receiving support from the Single Homeless Project since then.
Looking to the future I'd really love to have a family of my own and the means to support them. I'd like to be a security guard as I think it's an interesting career and I'm good at helping people but can be firm if needed. I would be open to other jobs too as my my goal at the moment is to get some money coming in and get back to independent living as soon as I can.
