Jay's story
In 2017 I was working and privately renting before I was in a motorbike accident and was hospitalised. I had to learn how to walk again and I lost my home and my job. I have now been homeless for 5 years. During this time I have been sofa surfing, sleeping rough and in and out of temporary accommodation.
I am very excited to have a fresh start. I have twins who mean the world to me and I'm striving for a life that is less stressful and more stable. In the future I want to be independent and successful.
I am so thankful to all the people that are helping me move towards my goals. I have found a new property and I can't wait to make it feel like home.
