I want to be able to earn enough to have my own car and move into my own property. Most importantly, I want to be able to look after my children and treat them to the life they deserve. My children are so important to me, which is why I want to work in childcare so that I can fit my work around them. I'm a single mum so I need to do something that is centred around holidays and their time off so that I can give my time to them, as well as work.
Life has not been easy and I've had to take big steps to find mental peace. I was in a domestically violent and abusive relationship, and after making the decision to leave my situation, I'm now more confident and independent. The first few months were hard because of the new start and the unknown, but I believe I've made a good decision.
I've been through a lot of hardship and I'm now more ready than ever to establish our lives. Financially, I've been controlled a lot. So being financially independent, through finding work in childcare, is important to me and will really boost my confidence. This is a big goal of mine now and I'm a strong woman so I know I can achieve it.
