Hi my name is John. I am extremely fortunate to have lived in beautiful North West London for around the last 18 years of my life. I have struggled to find employment in recent times due to my mental health and being in unsettled accommodation. At times, my reserves of motivation and self-esteem were all but empty.
I'm hoping that Beam can help me settle into a secure job and place to live, where I feel at home once again. A sense of belonging is essential to a person. I'm hoping that if my living situation improves I will rediscover my ambition, drive and desire to be a more productive member of society, amongst other things.
Beam have been incredible for me so far. Being re-housed would pretty much be impossible without them in my current situation. Things would look a lot bleaker without their assistance and help and so I am massively grateful to them! I really want to pass on to others the kind of kindness and help that I have been fortunate enough to receive. I strongly believe in society and that those who have been helped should go on to help others, there's a space and a role for every single one of us in society and nobody should be left behind.
For somebody to donate to me and help me get where I am trying to be in life would be incredible! It's something that I will never forget and it will definitely inspire me and drive me to achieve what I want to in life. I will not want to let down anybody who has shown belief in me and who has, through the kindness of their own heart, helped me at a time when I really needed it.
