John's story
I've been a working man my whole life - I've never not been in work. Everything was fine up until last year when my relationship broke down and I quickly found myself in supported accommodation with my son.
I really want to provide for my son and give him the best life possible, but I'm finding life is dealing me one bad hand after the other. I have secured jobs, but without childcare support they have been hard to sustain.
I just need a break and some support to help me secure a steady job so I can earn a reliable income. I want to be able to spoil my son, and I want us to find a place of our own that we can call home.
