I really enjoy work and for me I get satisfaction from achieving long term goals. I've worked in lots of different areas and I see each new experience as a chance to build even more skills.
My housing became an issue due to COVID-19. Myself and my family couldn't keep up with the rent and bills due to the business we were running coming into difficulties. We were evicted from our rented flat and supported by the council into temporary accommodation as a family. We have our support network here in London as well as the children's schools. If I can't find work soon, we will need to leave London and start again somewhere else. The prospect of this is really difficult to come to terms with.
At the moment, I'm quite open to the industry I work in. I'm happy to work where I can in order for my family and I to live the best life we can. I have lots of customer service experience but I also like to work at pace so I know there will be lots of roles out there for me if I'm given the chance.
Once I'm settled in a new job I'm really looking forward to taking the family out. It's been a really challenging last few years for us and they deserve to be treated! I'm really grateful that I'm part of the Beam community and I'm looking forward to turning the support I'm receiving into a real life change for me, my wife and kids.
