I have been living in London for over 10 years. Previously I was sharing a house with friends and relatives. Last August, however, the situation in Afghanistan dramatically changed. It became unsafe for my family to stay there, so they were brought over to the UK by the Uk Government. We have been staying in a bridging hotel in London since August last year, as it's been really difficult to find a suitable place for us all to live together.
Since having my family in the UK, I have realised the importance of having a home. My target is to eventually buy a house, and I know that I will have to work very hard to do this. I’m so excited to move to a property where I can be with my family and children all under one roof! We’ll have our own kitchen where we can cook our own food every day. I'm very happy and grateful to get support and kind words. Thank you also to Beam for the excellent advice and support!
