I'm an incredibly hard-working and ambitious person and have really big dreams for the future. Growing up, my situation wasn't the easiest. I spent many years at an orphanage in France - it was really challenging time and it's still a time I sometimes think about.
I moved to the UK in my 20s and struggled a bit and unfortunately developed a gambling addiction which impacted me for a long time. Any money I earned, I spent. Despite the difficulties it's made me the person I am today and I'm really pleased to say I've recently overcome my addiction and I'm looking forward to building a life I'm proud of
I've got years of experience working in hospitality and food is something I love! I never received any formal qualifications, and it's something I really want now. I'm hoping to start a pastry making course in the next few weeks and in September enrol in a college where I can complete further training. One day aim to open my own bakery and for the first time in many years, I'm really excited about my future!
