I love making people happy and helping them out if they are going through any problems. I want people to see me as someone they can rely on to always make them feel better!
I became homeless in January due to not getting on with my mum. It's been a challenging journey, but I've learnt a lot, including how to live on the basics and how to budget properly. Another really powerful lesson has been not to take anything for granted!
Everything began improving for me when I started getting all this positive feedback from other people at the Single Homeless Project. They told me that I'm a really motivational young woman who always fills the room up with positive energy. I'd never heard that before and it was just so great to hear from other people! This has given me the confidence to know that I'd be a great Healthcare Assistant. Not only would I be able to help people going through problems, I'd be able to bring my positive energy to them as well. Coronavirus and the lockdown make this even more important. It's been really upsetting hearing on the news how so many people have passed. I want to be able to help where I can to make people better.
I want to be 100% independent and move forward with my life. At some point in the next two years I want to go to university and get my nursing degree so I can become an aesthetician and have my own studio. I also might be able to get my own place this year which is really exciting! This campaign is going to help me take steps towards both of these long-term goals, funding my first month's rent when I get my own place and helping me get a job in healthcare so I can build up experience for the future.
