Sadly, once the interests rates were increased, I was no longer able to afford the mortgage of the home that I lived in with my daughter. The payments increased and I had to move out. This was a really difficult time, as my daughter is autistic and this kind of change is hard for her to deal with.
I moved into temporary accommodation and have had support with some household essentials for when I move into my new council property in the new year. This level of stability is much needed and hopefully will be the start of a new chapter in our lives!
In the future, I would like to be in a stable home and see my daughter attending college. Additionally, I have recently completed a counselling qualification and am aiming to start my own business, using my skills and experience to support people.
