Lena's story
Hi, I'm Lena. My initial goal with Beam is to move into a stable accommodation to give me a feeling of a real home after fleeing from the war in Ukraine. I know that then I will feel settled and ready to move on.
I guess the biggest challenge for me is reinventing myself from a scratch and trying to understand what I give back to the country and people who are very supportive and have provided safety.
My biggest passion is travelling. It gives you the unbelievable feeling of freedom and lets you keep an open mind to everything in your life. I am very excited to do this again one day in the future.
I'm really appreciative and excited to feel that people care about me. I see myself in a new home with bright prospects ahead, and I can't wait!
