I have many passions including; dancing, cooking, painting, swimming. I am a trained lifeguard, but I am always filled with joy when I am surrounded by my four precious children, and when I am on stage singing my own songs to an audience.
I have been staying with my children's grandmother recently, but before that I was staying in a Mother & Baby unit with my children. In 2013, I experienced a mental breakdown and I just couldn't see a clear path. I stayed in hospital for 10 days as I felt just so overwhelmed, but then I started singing, jogging and journalling, and learnt a lot about how to have a positive perspective on life.
Since then I have continued to live a happy life, and this experience has helped me choose joy over pain. Now, I'd like to work towards my security licences first and get a job in security. I know I'd find it really rewarding to ensure members of the public are safe, and I will be able to use the protective skills I've gained as a mother to help me in this career too. In the future I can see myself in my own home with my children, looking out at them playing in the garden whilst I cook jerk chicken and the sound of good music fills the air. I would like to see myself flourish physically and mentally, and know that I am financially free and happy.
