My housing situation got more complicated because I had to go back to Ukraine with my child. My husband fought for our country in the war and got badly hurt. It was my responsibility to take care of him in the hospital. After some time, when he was out of danger and I could go back to work and my child could go to school, our sponsor told us to find a new place to live. They had relatives coming over and needed the room we were staying in.
The hardest part was that I didn't know the language. It made it difficult to find a new home. But I stayed hopeful. I knew that once we found a place to settle down, my daughter and I would be happy. I want my family to be joyful in life, and I also wanted to help others who were in need. I used to work in the medical field in Ukraine, where I helped many people. I miss that part of my life.
As we faced these challenges, I believed that with determination and strength, we would overcome our situation and create a new life where we could be content, bring happiness to our family, and continue making a positive impact on the lives of others.
