Life has thrown me some curveballs, but I've always found the strength to keep going for my little boy. I'm a single mum to a wonderful 3-year-old son. We've been through a lot together, from fleeing an abusive relationship to moving cities while heavily pregnant. Now, we're facing the risk of eviction as our landlord is selling the property we currently live in. It's a first-floor flat that isn't suitable for us, especially with my son growing up so fast.
I've been battling with my mental health for quite some time, which has made it difficult for me to hold down a job. But I'm determined to overcome these challenges. My goal is to secure a stable home for us, where my son can have a safe space to grow and play. I dream of having a nice home with a little garden, and I'm working hard to improve my health so I can get back to work and provide a better life for my son.
Knowing that there are people out there who want to support me in achieving this goal is truly heartwarming. It's amazing how strangers can find it in their hearts to help others, and it really renews my faith in humanity. I'm excited about launching my Beam donations page and getting closer to securing a new home for my son. To everyone who donates, I want to say a huge thank you. Your generosity means the world to us, and I can't wait to share our journey with you. In two years' time, I see us living in our nice home, with me in better health and back at work.
