My son is my number one priority in life and that will never change. My biggest motivation and dream for the future is to make him happy and to give him a good start in life. I would also like to further my education in the UK and continue to help those less fortunate than myself. Seeing others happy has always been important to me.
My journey here hasn’t been easy. I lived in Ukraine and had to leave everything behind as I fled the war. My life, my home comforts, my family and my friends. It has been extremely challenging as this has led to changes in my life such as unemployment. I have always been independent, so it feels strange not being in work. But I’m determined to find a new job as soon as possible and continue to build and work towards my goals.
I have previously worked as a Psychology Consultant, supporting people with dementia. I am looking for a role as a Carer as that aligns with my previous experience and will allow me the flexibility to spend as much time with my son. I can be there to drop him off and pick him up from school whilst working. It’s really important for me to find a job that allows me this flexibility and means I can be there for all the big and small moments in my son’s life.
