I'm hard-working and dedicated individual who has experience in a variety of industries, including retail, kitchens, and factories. However after having problems with my mental health during lockdown, I lost my job and I've been out of work since the end of last year so I had to leave my flat and move in with family.
This change has actually made a world of difference to my mood and mental health though, as I feel a lot more supported and less alone now than I did the last few years. I've also started a course to work towards my CSCS card and I'm really motivated to make a change in my life. I'm excited about the opportunities that a career in construction can offer.
My course is already underway with support from the Job Centre, but I'm looking for support with the costs of PPE and work clothes so I can get started as soon as I can. I'm confident that I can make a successful career in construction, so I appreciate this support.
