Things have been really tough, I've been living in temporary accommodation for a long time. I'd love to be able to provide a stable home for my kids.
I'm currently in the final year of my health and social care course and am hoping to find work as a carer.
Caring comes naturally to me, when I was at school my mum encouraged me to help people and that's how I decided on nursing as my career. I've always wanted to help people, I'm a very sensitive person. The best thing about being a nurse or a carer is to be there in somebody's life when they need you the most. Sometimes people have restrictions, being a carer you get the chance to be their hands and legs. I get to help people to be human.
The thing that makes me happiest is seeing people around me happy. I'm also a big fan of documentaries, especially nature documentaries. In the future, I'd love for me and my kids to have an amazing place to call home. Living in temporary accommodation and knowing we know we can move at any time is difficult and often problems don't get fixed in the house. I'd also to be in a position to able to give back to people. Since I arrived in the UK people have helped a lot and I'd love the chance to give back and be an active member of the community. It feels so amazing that people want to help me because that is the kind of person I want to be in the future and I'm so grateful for the help.
