After experiencing a range of issues related to my mental health, I needed time to focus on healing and rebuilding myself. As a result, I was not able to work and maintain my housing situation. Thankfully, the council stepped in and supported me during this period. I was taken into sheltered accommodation, which is where I'm still living. I'm now feeling better and ready to become independent again.
In order to become independent again, I need to get back into work and start earning money. I want to take things one step at a time, as I do not want to put too much on my plate at once. I'm going to focus on work first, then I will address my housing situation.
I have previous experience working in customer-focused environments where I've developed excellent communication skills. I want to use these skills to propel me into a company where I can progress and grow.
I'm very lucky to have a strong support system around me. Socialising with family and friends makes life special for me. I love to work out and keep active in the gym and also participating in the weekly group exercise with my key worker Ericsson.
