I'm looking to improve my English language skills with Beam's online ESOL course, with the goal of transitioning into a healthcare role here in the UK. I came to the UK from Afghanistan around 18 months ago, but I have two degrees, 7 years of experience as a Nurse, and 2 years of experience as a Doctor from back home. I'd like to work in the NHS now I'm here, and use my skills in the UK.
After we moved to West Yorkshire, we also become loving parents to a 10-month-old baby and I'm eager to provide a bright future for my new family. My husband is currently a student, and I'm keen to secure a job soon to support our family. I have been volunteering a hospital a few hours a week which has been wonderful, but I'm looking forward to putting my education and experience to use here in the UK.
With the support from Beam, and my campaign, I can have a laptop to complete the online course which would be essential for the course. I appreciate your help, and I'm looking forward to being able to give back to my new community!
