My wife and our one-year-old daughter came to the UK because of the war in Ukraine. We've been here for a few months, but it's been quite a challenge to settle down. In Ukraine, we had our own home, and I was working towards building my career in football.
I have been working since we arrived in the UK, but finding a stable job has been difficult. Right now, my main goal is to find a secure job to provide for my family and give our daughter a good life. Ensuring my family's safety and helping them adapt to our new life here is my top priority.
My big dream, and long-term goal, is to re-start my career in football, and one day, start my own academy and lead a team. Football isn't just a job for me – it's a deep passion. I believe it brings people together and creates a sense of unity and joy in the community. I have also been studying to get the qualifications I need, including a master's degree, to make this dream a reality here in the UK.
I know it will take a while to stabilise our lives, but I feel hopeful we are on the right path. With Beam's help, we're also able to repair our car, which is essential for us to get around where we are based. So, your support really means a lot to us and I'm very grateful.
