I find happiness in little things like a walk to the park with my daughters, a cup of coffee, a good book, a bouquet of flowers, a nice conversation with someone. I enjoy life and motherhood to the fullest despite all the difficulties and obstacles.
I am currently living in temporary accommodation with my two daughters aged 5 and 19 months as a result of separation from an emotionally abusive and toxic partner. The most difficult part was the separation itself especially because there are 2 little girls who despite their small age will be affected but not more than if I had stayed in a toxic relationship, in a toxic environment giving a wrong example of how a family or a relationship should be.
The hardest thing I've experienced in life was making the decision to leave my partner. It was the best decision of my life and I am very proud I finally did it. Living in a toxic relationship and being betrayed by the person whom I considered my family and my support was a very tough lesson.
I'm interested in being a Carer as I find great satisfaction and enthusiasm in helping others. We are all born with a mission to accomplish through our journey. And I believe my mission is to make a better place to live for those less fortunate than me. My dream is to live a meaningful life by helping others and by being a good example for my daughters.
I hope that women like me in a similar situation will take the courage to leave the toxic individuals in their lives and start living and start doing what they really want to do. I want you to know that life is good, life is really beautiful, and you shouldn't waste it with people that don’t appreciate you, don’t value you and don’t respect you.
