There have been lots of ups and downs for me over the last couple of years. We have moved around a lot and have not had somewhere to call home. I'm a mum of four wonderful children and they really are my motivation. I'm so grateful for Beam's support to get me one step closer to providing a stable home for my family. I haven't been able to get back to work since the birth of my youngest, and it's so nice to know there is a supportive community out there to help me. I can't wait to get back to work and doing what I love.
I am naturally a very caring person and love looking after people. Once my kids are a bit older I would love to go back to higher education and become a nurse. Meanwhile, I'd love to find work as a carer again so I can continue to build up experience while still supporting my family. My favourite thing about working as a carer is getting to talk to older people and hear their stories. Working in these places has made me realise how much we need people around us and I love being that support for someone. I'm so excited to join the Beam community and get job-hunting.
