I had a difficult journey to the UK, I came as a refugee and have been waiting for confirmation on my status for a while. I'd really like to get back into work so I can continue to build a life for myself here. I've lived in hostels and temporary accommodation since I arrived and would love to have a proper place to call home.
I'd really like to find permanent work in healthcare, especially working with elderly people. I really enjoy this because when they get old they need some extra support and someone to be kind to them, and I enjoy being that person for them. I have a lot of experience helping people, I always try and help people if they need something and always try to be kind and patient.
In the future, I'd love to go to university to become a nurse, especially a children's nurse. I was always helping out with the children in the local community. Outside of work, I love going to the seaside, and one day hope I get to visit it more often! The next steps are to find work and then find accommodation. I hope to have somewhere that my family can come to stay too. I'm so grateful for the support from Beam, it feels amazing that people out there actually want to help me.
