Hello, I'm Rosie. I'm a mother to two wonderful boys, and I've been on quite a journey. I've moved around a lot in the past, from care to council housing, and I've faced my fair share of challenges. One of the biggest hurdles I've had to overcome is not having the qualifications I need for the jobs I want to do. I've got my GCSEs in English and Maths, but my dream is to become a social worker, and for that, I need more qualifications.
What makes me happy? My friends, my family, and people who can help me. I've never had a job before, but I'm eager to start working. I've been applying for jobs recently, and I'm looking to work between 16 to 30 hours a week. I'm not looking for any job though, I want to help people. I've always been drawn to roles where I can make a difference, like customer assistant roles. But my ultimate goal is to get the qualifications I need to work in Social Work
Knowing that there are people out there who want to support me in achieving my goal is an incredible feeling. It's like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I'm excited to launch my Beam donations page because it brings me one step closer to achieving a dream I've had for years. So, to everyone who donates, I just want to say a massive thank you. Your support is helping me to achieve my dreams and I'm extremely grateful. I can't wait for the day when I can say that I've done something I didn't think I could do. That will be a true achievement.
