About 5 years ago, I was made homeless whilst at university. Unfortunately, I didn't attend my graduation and found myself under immense pressure. However, I still managed to pull through and get my Bachelor's degree and I was just happy to complete the course and leave as a graduate.
My goal is to eventually have my own space and work in human resources. I am very interested in organisations, how they work and the people in them. I love helping and empowering others. Since leaving university after studying, I have learnt how much people’s personal well-being can impact their work-life. I currently mentor young graduates and help them with cv writing and cover letters. I would like to eventually go into mentoring young women with similar experiences as myself.
At the moment I currently live with family under strained circumstances. There is some mental and emotional issues that I have been working to overcome. I aim to move out very soon to reduce family tension and gain my own independence. I also believe this will allow me to focus more on working as I have had to leave previous employment due to emotional strain and I didnt have a support system at the time.
To support me in doing this I want to work as a warehouse operative because it is similar to jobs I have done before. I like working with others as part of a team and I'm a very practical thinker as enjoy following processes.
