Life has been tough since we arrived in the UK two years ago. I have ten children, and it has been extremely difficult trying to find a job to be able to support my family. I used to work as a chef for over 20 years back in Afghanistan and had no financial stress. However, now we have moved to the UK and I am still on the waiting list for English classes, the language barrier has made it incredibly challenging to secure a job.
Whilst I have been searching for a job it has become more difficult to cover costs for basic needs such as paying our utility bills, food, and my children’s school uniforms. Therefore, I am determined to find work to be able to provide for everyone.
Looking forward, I am very excited to find a job soon so that we can be less stressed and for our financial problems to get better. Once we have this, I am looking forward to beginning a positive future here in the UK. Thank you for all of your support.
