I enjoy fashion, music and performing arts. It is a great way to express myself. I can really let my emotions out while performing. What a release! I’ve performed on stage in front of audiences of over three hundred people and graced the stage at various auditoriums including Stratford Theatre Royal. These experiences fill me with pride and push me to perfect my craft even more. Naturally, I am a very outgoing and friendly person, so these activities allow me to be myself. When I am not performing I enjoy being in social environments, meeting new people and connecting with friends and family.
This recent period has been extremely difficult. I thought I had done everything I needed to maintain a stable job within care. I studied and worked hard to gain the experience needed. I have a passion for helping others in need. I’m friendly, approachable and dedicated with extensive experience in delivering outstanding customer care. However, COVID has made work extremely hard to come by. Which has meant I’ve had to rely on the generosity of close friends to let me stay on their sofas. Do not get me wrong, I consider myself very lucky to have the circle of friends around me I do but I want more than this. I want to be able to support myself!
I’ve gained so much inspiration from the kindness I’ve been shown in my time of need. This has made me even more determined to get back into care work where I know I can make a difference. I just want the opportunity to help us get the best out of their lives. In two years, I want to have a stable job within the care sector, working my way towards a senior position and have my own place to call home.
