My partner and I returned from France to have our baby. Because of some feeding complications we were unable to return and ended up living in temporary accommodation, something we'd never planned. The three of us are living in a very small, confined studio that really isn’t appropriate.
Living in the small flat has been challenging for us. We have no ability to do anything for ourselves, such as cook homemade food or even relax, as we are sharing one room for all facilities and the noise wakes the newborn from sleep. Due to lack of appropriate resources in the flat, we haven’t been able to prepare food for the baby.
It’s like a dream come true to have this help as it will really enable us to move from where we are. I will be so relieved that we can actually start living like a normal family, which since giving birth we've not had the opportunity to do. I'm really excited to launch our campaign - I hope other people can get inspired that there is some help for them, too.
