I moved to the UK in 2017 and have been through a lot. I've lived in temporary accommodations and experienced homelessness after losing a roofing job, which led me to sleep rough for 6 weeks. It was a really tough time, and I faced a lot of stress. I've worked in a warehouse and have experience in construction, particularly in plasterboard, roofing, and ground work. My main barrier to employment right now is the need for a CSCS card for construction work. I'm really motivated to find full-time work in the construction sector, and I'm confident that once I secure the CSCS card, I'll be a strong candidate for roles in this field.
Looking ahead, my main hope is to find stable work that will allow me to afford living in my own property. I'm eager to move past my previous challenges and build a stable and secure future for myself. I'm really focused on getting my life back on track and creating a better future for myself. I'm ready to put in the effort and work hard to achieve these goals.
