Tash's story
My goal with Beam is to find a stable home and move up North to start afresh with my family, away from a domestic abuse situation. The biggest challenge I've faced has been dealing with the mental and emotional impact of what I've experienced. Knowing that people want to support me feels reassuring and gives me hope.
I'm excited about launching my Beam donations page as it means I'm one step closer to achieving my goal. When I move to a new place, it will bring me a sense of safety and stability. It will be a place for my kids to grow and thrive.
In two years, I envision myself with a new job and my children happy and doing well in school.
